Gravitas Research offers flexibility for companies who have pressing staffing needs, but are not prepared to commit to a full retained search. We offer a lower-cost, but high-value model that provides the benefits of our retained search services in casting a wider net and identifying the “passive” candidates that you may not be able to surface through job postings.
Level 1 - Name Generation
Our research team works with you to understand your job specifications, then provides a comprehensive list of candidates that meet your criteria, including contact information. The vast majority of these contacts are “passive” candidates, meaning they are actively employed and would likely not apply to your job through your website or a job board. This approach allows you the benefits of an “active recruitment” approach normally limited to full retained search, while still keeping costs low.
Level 2 - Candidate Development
Augmenting our Name Generation model, our team will contact each of the contacts identified in our research list. We then act as an extension of your organization in conducting preliminary phone calls to understand if the candidate has an interest in the job, and then passing on to your team our qualified leads. Unlike other firms, we have multiple levels of communication and are persistent in speaking with each identified contact.
For jobs with total cash compensation under $150,000, we offer a “contained” search model. This hybrid of contingent and retained search requires an only a small upfront candidate development fee, which can be combined through the research noted above, and the balance of a search fee due ONLY at the time of successful placement. For this type of engagement, we conduct a fully comprehensive search, including: name generation, candidate development, multiple interviews, presentation of a final candidate slate, and final hire negotiations.
